Hearthstone Brewery COVID 19 Measures

STEPS TAKEN

  • We kindly ask that both Team Members and Guests stay home if they are feeling unwell and/or displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • If you have been exposed to Covid-19 recently or show any symptoms, including fever, cough or shortness of breath, please stay home. We will be happy to serve you once you feel better.
  • If you have traveled outside of Canada recently, we would love to serve you after you have isolated for 14 days.
  • All guests will be seated by a team member.
  • Team Members have the right to refuse unsafe work including service to anyone who may display any symptoms of Covid-19.
  • Sanitization practices have been increased, including all tables, chairs, laminated menu/placards to be fully cleaned and sanitized after each service.
  • All communal condiments have been removed from the tables.
  • Team Members will carry food and leave items on end of the table.
  • Water will be poured in glasses by the server only if a guest asks.
  • Any event at our location must meet the guidelines set by Health Authorities.
  • Guests are required to limit interaction with others by staying at their own table.
  • Additional signage to encourage social distancing & sanitary measures placed throughout our location.
  • Tables and chairs have been moved/removed to accommodate the recommended social distancing rules. Tables and Chairs cannot be moved.
  • One person from each seating must provide contact information to be kept on file for 30 days. This measure is to assist provincial health officials with contact tracing if necessary.
  • Log to be kept in a binder and binder placed in the office each night.
  • Guests seated in and around the bar must follow physical distancing guidelines with other guests outside of their bubble.
  • Bartenders must adhere to social distancing between other team members and guests.
  • Max occupancy signs placed on the bathroom doors.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the establishment for both guests and staff.
  • Team Members must wash/sanitize hands after each table touch as well as wash hand frequently throughout the day.
  • Approved Sanitizer and Disinfectants used throughout the pub.
  • Bathroom cleaning schedule increased with extra nightly cleaning.
  • Guests will be asked to come back if we have reached our capacity, no exceptions. A sign will be posted on the door if we reach full capacity.
  • All multi touch surfaces will be wiped and sanitized periodically, including all POS and debit machines.
  • Gloves and masks are available for team members.
  • All Team Members must wear masks while at work.
  • All Guests are required to wear a mask as per PHO.
  • All Team Members are required to complete a Daily Health Screen prior to entering the workplace.

These guidelines have been put into place to protect our teams, our guests, and our community. Thank you for doing your part in keeping Safety a top priority.
